Eight House Republicans Thwart Mayorkas Impeachment

Grassroots Republican voters are not happy with eight House members. “The House on Monday voted 209-201 to kill a resolution introduced by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) to impeach Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas,” Axios reports. “The resolution accuses Mayorkas of violating a 2006 law requiring the government to maintain ‘operational control’ over the US-Mexico border as well as a clause of the Constitution guaranteeing states protection from ‘invasion,’” the news site notes.

Eight Is Enough: “Eight Republicans voted with Democrats to block the measure: Reps. Cliff Bentz (R-OR), Ken Buck (R-CO), John Duarte (R-CA), Darrell Issa (R-CA), Patrick McHenry (R-NC), Tom McClintock (R-CA), Virginia Foxx (R-NC) and Mike Turner (R-OH).” Related: Biden opens back door for Mexicans seeking rapid entry into US…

Newsom Admits SF Cleaned Up Before Elites Hit Town

Was Gavin Newsom a little too honest for his own good? The Democrat California governor on Monday openly conceded that San Francisco streets were cleared of trash and squalor as bigwigs from around the world, including Chinese President Xi Jinping, arrive for this week’s APEC summit in the Bay Area burg plagued by runaway drug use, crime and homelessness.

‘That’s True’: “I know folks are saying, ‘Oh they’re just cleaning up this place because all those fancy leaders are coming to town,’” Newsom declared at an unveiling of new trees planted in the city as part of his Clean California Initiative. “That’s true, because it’s true.” “It’s also true for months and months and months before APEC, we’ve been having different conversations and we’ve raised the bar of expectation between the city, the county, and the state and our federal partners,” he stressed. Photos of White House Cocaine Published

It’s the baggie that launched a thousand speculations and more. “Photos of cocaine found in a phone locker at President Joe Biden’s White House this summer” were published for the first time by UK newspaper The Daily Mail on Monday. “The Secret Service included images of the bag of white powder that was found in a cubby hole used to store personal belongings near the White House’s West Executive entrance in response to a Freedom of Information Act request,” the paper relates.

Who Brought the Blow? “Cocaine was found in locker No. 50 on Sunday, July 2, while the Biden family – including son Hunter – was spending the weekend away at Camp David ahead of the Fourth of July holiday. The discovery prompted an evacuation of the West Wing and street closures surrounding the White House and then triggered an 11-day investigation once the substance was identified as the illicit drug. Documents obtained also show the Deputy Director of the FBI Paul Abbate was involved in the investigation, which clouded the Biden administration in scandal this summer. The Secret Service closed the investigation in less than two weeks due to a ‘lack of evidence.’” Related: Former CIA boss: Not sorry I tried to discredit Hunter Biden laptop…

Paul Pelosi Testifies at Hammer Trial

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) husband took the stand in the case of the man who bludgeoned him with a hammer last year in an assault famously captured on video. Paul Pelosi “testified Monday about the night he ‘woke up in a pool of his own blood’ after being attacked by a man who broke into his house carrying zip ties and a hammer and demanded to speak to his wife,” the Washington Examiner reports. “The door opened and a very large man came in with a hammer in one hand and some ties in the other, and he said, ‘Where’s Nancy?” Pelosi stated. “I’m asleep and he bursts in the door, and that woke me up.”

‘Recognized I Was In Serious Danger’: “David DePape, a Canadian national, has been charged with assault on an immediate family member of a federal official and attempted kidnapping of a federal official. If convicted, he would face life in prison. He has pleaded not guilty. Pelosi testified he didn’t set his home alarm before going to bed and didn’t hear DePape break in but that he ‘recognized I was in serious danger’ when he saw him. ‘He was standing in the doorway, and I assume he was three, four feet away from me,’ Pelosi said. ‘It was a tremendous sense of shock to see somebody had broken into the house.’ Pelosi said he tried to escape but failed.” Related: Pelosi attacker portrayed as Trump supporter by a desperate Left…

Trump’s Older Sister Maryanne Dies at 86

Former President Donald Trump has lost another sibling. “Maryanne Trump Barry, the older sister of Trump and a former federal judge, has died. She was 86 years old,” ABC News reports. “Barry was discovered in her New York City apartment at about 4 am, sources said. There were reportedly no signs of trauma or foul play. Emergency crews responded to a call of a person in cardiac arrest,” the network details.

RIP: “Barry was a senior judge on the US Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit until she retired in 2019. She was appointed to the US District Court for the District of New Jersey by then-President Ronald Reagan in 1983 and was then appointed to the US Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit in 1999 by then-President Bill Clinton. Three of the ex-president’s four siblings have now died. Robert Trump, his youngest brother, died in August 2020 at 71 years old. Fred Trump Jr. died of a heart attack at just 42 years old in September 1981.” Related: Trump vs Biden: Not who’s losing, but who’s losing it…
